You have been selected to take part in a sponsored Tire Machèt workshop, free for you to attend, taking place at 1515 Market Street in Philadelphia in collaboration with MIWA, an exhibition supporting artists and cultural exchange between Philadelphia and Haiti.

During the workshop, you’ll be introduced to Tire Machèt, a Haitian martial art centered around machete fencing, movement, and cultural tradition. The session will include demonstrations, instruction, and guided hands on practice using training and prop equipment.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn, move, and connect with a tradition that carries Haitian history and culture through physical practice.
